Hey everyone!!

 

I'd like to tell you a little bit about myself and why I chose to start a blog; I was born and raised in Mesa, Arizona and I'm the 5th child out of 6, I don't get to be the youngest but I do get to be the baby girl and that has some perks to it! (; My younger brother is my best friend in the whole world, it wasn't like that from the beginning (there's a funny story behind that) that I'll tell you soon. I love to play volleyball and this last season I got the privileged to coach some amazing girls! I'm a Christian and I don't just wear the title of being a Christian...I strive everyday to glorify my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. It is through Him and in Him that I live. Don't get me wrong I'm still human and I'm by far not perfect but I strive to do what the Lord has called me to be as a follower of Christ and a young lady in my generation. 

I love to write. I journal about almost everyday, in the good times and bad. Writing is my place to be me and only me. I write to heal my wounds and get deeper into what I'm feeling so I can conquer it. I decided to start a blog because I want to be an encourager to people. I want people to know that they're not alone and that you need community in this life to get through the hard times. I want to be able to come along side people and help them through anything through my writing, because writing has saved me from so much. I want people to know that they are not alone even if it seems that way, that they shouldn't let go, to find the hope, to see the light, to rest in your closest friends, your mentors. I hope and pray that this blog would help others and glorify God, I pray that God would use me as a vessel as I write to shine HIS light and reach the darkness of the world!
